Brush up your team's artistic skills to create a masterpiece of epic proportions

Introducing The Big Picture…

Everyone knows that it’s important to step back and look at the big picture every now and then, especially in the day-to-day busyness that occurs in any organisation. By enabling your team to paint a masterpiece of truly epic proportions, The Big Picture reinforces the importance of co-operation, communication and teamwork.

Your delegates will soon realise that the success and quality of their picture depends upon their ability to co-operate rather than compete. In short, they have to take a ‘big picture’ view so that each canvas fits perfectly to guarantee that the final result is going to be picture perfect!

The image you choose to create can be inspired by your:

  • Company image
  • Conference theme
  • Product or service
  • Goals or values

Alternatively, it can reflect a large-scale reproduction of a famous work of art.

Inspiration provided by The Big Picture endures long after the day itself. Many of our clients display the completed picture at their office as a reminder of the importance of effective teamwork, whilst others have chose to brighten up wall spaces in hospices, play groups or old peoples’ home. Still others have chosen to auction the picture for charity. Whatever you decide to do with your picture, it is sure to inspire and motivate, both on the day and after.

What will happen during The Big Picture?

  • At the start of the exercise, your delegates will be divided into teams, each being responsible for drawing and painting a number of unique canvases that will form a small but significant segment of The Big Picture.
  • Armed with brushes, sponges, paints and minimal information (your delegates have no idea what the final image will be), teams then have to collaborate and communicate effectively to ensure that all the lines of the drawing meet and the colours match.
  • Once complete, all the canvases will be mounted on a giant frame and concealed behind a curtain.
  • Finally, your masterpiece will be majestically unveiled for all to see.

Due it its market relevance, Big Picture has been very successful and many clients have used the activity as a vehicle to 'give back in some way'. Some of our clients have used the decorative nature of Big Picture to brighten up wall spaces in hospices, play groups or old peoples' homes. The most popular CSR angle has been auctioning the picture for charity post event, earning a lot of money over the last decade.

Testimonial

Many, many thanks! What a day that was! Given the feedback we captured on video at the end of the show, it was certainly a show they will never forget. They loved it. It was such a big day for them in terms of realigning everyone to the new vision as a new and bigger team. BeatsWork demonstrated brilliantly what they are capable of and I think now they realise that there is no limit to what they can achieve. It is always a pleasure working with such a professional team and knowing that our objectives will be met.
