Bridging The Divide is a motivational, engaging and hands-on event that evokes very powerful metaphors. All departments of your organisation are required to strive towards their own goals but simultaneously play a vital role in the bigger picture. In a powerful, yet simple message, the efforts of every team are literally ‘linked’ together as the teams construct a bridge that is structurally sound, sufficiently stable and large enough to allow a bulky remote-controlled vehicle to traverse it safely without mishap.
Each team faces their own individual challenges as they overcome limited resources, communication barriers and strict timelines, whilst all the while working to customer specifications. Teams can be rewarded for their creative engineering, best branding or most efficient use of resources. However, each team must not only focus on their immediate task but also play their vital role in ensuring the success of the company-wide project.
Bridging The Divide is an exciting, collaborative construction project that enables teams to grapple with the expectations of diverse stakeholders whilst creating an amazing structure they can all be proud of.
Bridging the Divide can be tailored so that each bridge portion is presented by the team as the rationale for the side messages concerning sustainable development.
The end goal requires teams to share resources, minimise unnecessary journeys, control budgets and use recycled materials wherever possible. It’s a route to creating awareness of the impact of any project on the environment and the expectations of diverse stakeholders.
On behalf of the RBS Group Credit Programme project team, we write to thank you for your support delivering the three highly successful events to date. We appreciate you having taken the time prior to the event to understand our objectives, discuss the design with us and for becoming part of our team working alongside other suppliers and ourselves. This approach enabled us to deliver a co-ordinated message and seamless delivery, resulting, as indicated, in a great success. We have received very positive feedback from both delegates and the Heads of Credit who attended all three events.
