Program outline

Introducing Cartoon Capers…

Would your conference or corporate programme benefit from an injection of creativity, humour and pro-active decision making? If so, then Cartoon Capers may be just what you need! In this comical event involving planning, communication and creative thinking, your teams must work effectively together to produce and create a giant cartoon story strip, including presenting all their frames in a sequential order – preferably the correct one! Within this hilarious and frenetic scenario, colour continuity, clarity of thought, focus on key messages and creative scripting of speech bubbles will be critical to each team’s success. Cartoon Capers combines good-natured fun with a memorable means of reinforcing key messages and the end results can, of course, adorn the room for the remainder of your event. So what are you waiting for? Add some YABBA DABBA DO!, KER-POW!, and VRRROOOOM to your next event!

What will happen during Cartoon Capers?

  • To begin, each of your teams will be given a number of large, pre-drawn cartoon storyboard frames, along with paints, marker pens and brushes.
  • There is a sequence to the frames but we will provide no clue as to what it is, leaving your teams considerable scope for lively debate and conjecture!
  • As well as sequencing and decorating their storyboards, your teams must also prepare a dialogue for the presentation phase of this event and need to complete their speech bubbles, which can be used to highlight and reinforce your key messages.
  • In a highly entertaining climax, Cartoon Capers culminates with each of your teams giving a live presentation of their cartoon strip.
